Every fourth Sunday (or maybe Friday, who knows!), I’ll take a deep dive into a single technique, idea, or image in a series I’m calling Photo Breakdown. This week, I’m taking a look at a light painting Chloe and I shot at Joshua Tree, and all the trial-and-error that led up to it. You’ll get to see raw unedited photos, hear a two-second clip of our deliriously tired voices telling you what time it was, and hopefully get inspired to get out there and try out some night photography of your own. Let us know in the comments if you want us to do a tutorial on light paintings, and stay tuned next week for another tutorial!
